Bio

Gothic arches, worn tapestries, and the patina of aged woods; these are the inspirations behind CastleBoards. 

Drawn from the sights of Cathedrals, Castles, and Monasteries found throughout travels to Italy, Portugal, Spain, and France – The Renaissance Style contributes to the unique one-of-a-kind designs found in every Hand-Painted Wooden Tapestry.

After the devastation of Hurricane Rita, I was determined to try and create something positive from all of the chaos that surrounded us.  I took old woods and started re-purposing and building canvases from lumber that would have been destroyed.  CastleBoards  evolved from that negative experience and has opened up a whole new avenue for my creative ability, which I am very grateful for.  I really enjoy meeting new people during the shows I participate in.  Even more so,  I enjoy the opportunity and challenge, when asked, for special commissions  in which I am able to create designs specifically tailored to the customer’s request.
